I got to demo an iPhone this weekend and all I can say is “HURRY THE “EFF” UP ROGERS AND GET THIS THING INTO CANADA NOW!”

It really is as good as everyone says and when you play with it for the first time you really will be impressed. Not only am I getting one as soon as they come out, but Monica made it known that she wants one as well.

Hopefully Mike was right and they’ll be showing up in Canada at the end of August.

    Don’t hold your breath. One of the things that will prevent the release of the iPhone is Rogers’ data rates. They’re OBSCENE. What you pay $20 for in the States will run you over $700 up here. A month.

    Apple doesn’t release things that have a crappy experience (a less-than-ideal experience, maybe, but not a crappy one), and lack of access to data whenever you want it — that’s crappy. Try using an iPhone without Wi-Fi (in Canada, anyway). Boooooooooring.

    Okay, yes, it’s still electric crack, but it’s definitely not good enough. Rogers needs to change first. Or Telus needs to throw their hat in the GSM ring.
