Free Belkin TuneCommand AV for iPod Remote

TuneCommandThe title says it all. For some unknown reason, Belkin is giving away free TuneCommand AV remotes for your iPod. All you need to do is sign up and your TuneCommand remote will be delivered shortly.

TuneCommand AV lets you watch and listen to your iPod mobile digital device through your home-entertainment system, while you power and charge it through a docking station. Using the wireless remote control, you can roam as you play your tunes from virtually anywhere in your home. The remote uses wireless radio frequency (RF) technology and works from up to 120 feet away–perfect for distributed audio systems–regardless of barriers such as walls, ceilings, or windows.

Who doesn’t love free stuff? Even if it is strictly for marketing purposes.

This replacement remote only works with the Belkin TuneCommand AV. So unless you own a Belkin TuneCommand AV, there’s no point getting a free remote.

The offer is for existing TuneCommand AV owners who have malfunctioning remotes. Only a remote will be sent, not a whole set (Dock and remote), and the remote only works in conjunction with the dock.

I dunno.. I know of at least 3 different people who have received the remote and dock in the last 2 weeks.
