Dashalytics is by far my favourite new OSX Dashboard widget! This simple, yet highly useful, widget taps into your Google Analytics account and pulls out the high level visit and pageview data for a specified account. With a tap of the F12 key you can see your traffic data over the last 24 hours, 7 days, and 12 months. Beyond a high level view you can drill down into each category for a much more detailed breakdown. Not only is the UI nice and simple but it pretty much gives me the info I’m most interested in on an on-going basis. I no longer really have a need to log in to Google Analytics on a regular basis.

Dashalytics is definitely a nice widget, but it does have a few shortcomings. It would be nice if the widget could also break out top content and referrers. Another useful feature would be the ability to toggle between site data in a single widget instead of having to open multiple versions of the widget for different sites. Overall, none of these shortcomings are deal breakers.
