Seriously… does no one remember how fragile these aluminum cases are? If any of you readers remember the TiBook busted hinge problem from way back you’ll know what I mean. If you look at the instructions the first step is almost impossible and bound to cause major frustration and end up with a nicely gouged bezel. Jamming a screwdriver in sideways and hoping you’ll get the screws out is ridiculous. Even if you get them out you still need to reassemble which is no small feat.
Last time I had to mess with a MacBook screen I did serious damage to the machine and ended up with a Frank-en-laptop that had to have the screen removed. If you have just spent $2000 on a nice new Macbook (Pro) do you really need to void your warranty for no good reason?
I guess I’m just cheap. Oh well. Good luck kids.
