Had a great time this past weekend at Vfest. Your really can’t go wrong with a beautiful late summer afternoon, sun, bands, and a great venue. I was pleasantly surprised by the diversity of the audience as well as a number of bands that I otherwise would not have had much exposure to. Thrice, Wolfmother, and the Raconteurs all put on surprisingly great sets. I would have liked to have caught Alexisonfire the night before but I didn’t mind missing all the mud. Special thanks to RO, RK, MB, JE, KF, WH, and NF for a hella fun time. The water taxi back from the island was a fun way to wrap up the weekend.
